As a beauty editor, public speaker and licensed cosmetologist, Alison was named one of Folio magazine's 13 Under 30 emerging leaders in publishing. She regularly judges industry competitions; presents on how to build a following on social media; collaborates with brands on photoshoots, marketing and advertising campaigns; and is passionate about the professional salon industry.

To create the sunkissed golden glow on her now-bronde model, @mtlewisstylist used Pravana Pure Enlightenment Clay lightener with a high-volume developer. Then, she wrapped the lightened sections, and processed under heat for 15 minutes, and at room temperature for another 15 minutes for a total processing time of 30 minutes. Hair was then toned with Pravana's Color Lush 8nb for 15 minutes.
