Seamless melts are the signature of this SoCal colorist. Helena Palacios' aesthetic is clear and consistent; one look at her Instagram feed and you see her love for color, blends, and hair painting. We think you all need to say "Hey" to Helena...

Jenn Shin's beautiful color work pulled us in but she has a great way with a haircut, too. And now, she says she'd like to learn barbering. We'll be watching!

Alvarado is a self-described "beauty slayer" and his superpower is turning every woman into a fierce glamazon. He does hair, he does makeup, he does it all while looking pretty fierce, himself.

She specializes in taking naturally dark hair to the palest of pears, the prettiest of pastels, and keeps it looking healthy. We always want to know what's happening with Ko and that made her a game changer.

There's an alt-music, art school vibe to his Instagram feed. Brian Hickman makes us question our haircut and dream about getting one of his beautifully executed makeovers. Jump on his page for #hairtransformation inspiration.

Creamy blondes, icy platinums, cool beiges and pretty much any kind of blonde you can imagine, Grace Joo can create them. She is also a marvel at taking dark, grown-out roots and blending them into a perfect, zero-line-of-demarcation, finish.

Barber life looks very, very good when seen through the eyes of Christopher Betancourt. Filling his feed with clean lines, sharp details, and handsome profiles, Betancourt also puts himself in the frame, smiling as he works on his customers, young and old. #barberlove all the way.

Daniel Mora's touch is light; when he shares his "before and after" images, you can see how he has added depth, dimension, and framed the face with highlights but everything has been done to add maximum effect with minimum upkeep required.

There is a very lush quality to Marissa Larson's hair designs. The blondes are rich and the extensions --one of her specialties--are seamless while adding so much volume, length and thickness. Her clients leave looking like they have been blessed by the good hair gods.

He's only been licensed for three years, but Joshua Boynton's passion for hair is taking him places. We're a fan of his jewel tones, his granny grays and his sweet smile.

What can we say...we love us some Larisa. We've watched her progress for the past few years, from solo artist, to brand ambassador, to social phenom to boss lady salon owner. And through every phase and stage, hair and beauty are at the center of all she does.

He's an artist with the clippers, crafting beautifully fluid designs. His hidden talent is his punctuality and this is the kind of boast we can get behind. Meet @Los_Cut_It, Carlos Estrella.

Good vibes only on Tyler Plemmons feed. And lots of good hair. His clients leave with a 'model off duty' look--haircolor that looks haute and relaxed, at the same time.

What's happening in Florida that some of our favorite barbers are from the sunshine state? Frank Anthony Soto's work is dope. We especially love some of his littlest customers, who leave with a lollipop and a cut that will make them the coolest kid on campus.

It's fitting that Tim Morrison works out of downtown Los Angeles, as his aesthetic has an indie, downtown feel that is cool while still being accessible. We love his dab hand with styling and his cuts are immediately identifiable, even without a watermark. He's someone we've watched for awhile and love having him as one of our 100.
