David Bamford, a stylist on the Kevin.Murphy team, recently created “Braidelvise,” inspired from a fairytale about two sisters becoming lost in the forest. Bamford had the idea that the girls wound up braiding their hair for all eternity and these beautiful photos are the result.

Melissa Stone, former Vidal Sassoon creative director and current Creative Director for Sojourn, has released a style collection for the company that combines the sophisticated feel of Parisian runways with a Bohemian vibe of simplicity and natural beauty. “I wanted the looks to reflect the journey and vision of our company—elements of pure technique and effortless beauty,” says Stone. The styles combine precision and freehand cutting techniques and are finished with both wet and dry styling techniques to create looks that best suit a client’s hair texture and face shape.

Cosmetologists Chicago, owner of America’s Beauty Show, has released a collection of holiday hairstyles called “Holiday Tresses & Red Hot Dresses.” The theme is texture with an urban twist. The looks were created by enhancing natural curls and waves with fl exible styling products or by using a large-barrel curling iron on naturally straight hair.
