My buddy Beth Minardi, colorist extraordinaire, filled me on some great news today as we walked out of our dance class (our New Year's resolution to one day be Rockettes!).
First of all, Beth has joined forces with Joico as a “Special Consultant.” She is to be integrally involved in its hair color business and will be representing the brand globally. “I could not be more excited,” says Beth. “Becoming a part of the dedicated group at Joico feels absolutely perfect for me! Such an honor! This amazing company has big plans for hair color and has decided to reach out to hair colorists in ways I have only dreamed of before. Our new association represents, for me, bright, colorful horizons and wonderful new beginnings.”
Wow … this is huge!
Then she drops some more good news on me…
Beth has just been named the recipient of NAHA’s 2010 “Lifetime Achievement Award.” This coveted award, given to just one special person each year, will be presented July 17 at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas. She is so deserving!
Finally—her Minardi Beauty Products wet line has just became part of the East Coast Salon Services family of products.
This is all such great news for Beth, for Joico and for the industry. While we may not be Rockettes in this lifetime ... Beth is also great dancer! 2010 is looking good for Ms. Minardi.
