Brussels-native Cristophe Schatteman, founder of Cristophe Salons and products, started as an apprentice at the age of 13, going on to work in Paris, the South of France, Spain and London before coming to America at the age of 27. His is the face and name of five salons around the world (Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, Las Vegas, Washington, DC and St. Barth) with nearly 90 stylists, colorists and manicurists as well as the color coded product line, Cristophe Professional.
The Beverly Hills location, which opened in 1986 and is celebrating 30 years in 2016, has welcomed famous names in entertainment such as Brad Pitt, Kate Hudson, Nicole Kidman,Dustin Hoffman, Robin Williams, Denise Richards, Pamela Anderson, Bruce Springsteen, and Mick Jagger. He has also tended to the styles of Former President Bush, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton (still a client, today) and Former President Bill Clinton.
