In March, Charlie Le Mindu, a French "Haute Coiffure" Designer who fashions avant garde hair dresses, wigs  and one-of-the-kind pieces using  human hair by Hairdreams, debuted a new exhibition.at the renowned Paris museum Palais de Tokyo. This spectacular display featured pieces of art in an amusement-park setting appropriately named "Charliewood.“

Le Mindu was inspired by  environments such as Disneyland as he transformed the exhibition halls and featured a colorful mix of live performances, video installations and imaginary scenarios, each of which transported the spectators to their own fantasy world.

Le Mindu worked for six months with his creative team and put in  hundreds of hours on each item.  Many of his artist friends supported his new project including dancers from the world famous "Crazy Horse" revue that presented many of his hair dresses in specially choreographed dance routines.  Hairdreams supported its partner Charlie Le Mindu with shimmering silver/grey, black and pink colored strands which Le Mindu used to create his ornately braided hair masks and flowing hair sculptures.
