Macadamia Beautyannounced Maria Moga has joined the company as Global Innovation Director. Over the past seven years she has formulated haircare and personal care products at L’Oreal, Living Proof and Crabtree & Evelyn. Her latest role was with L’Oreal, where she was a Senior Chemist II creating haircare products for brands including Matrix, Redken, L’Oreal Paris and Garnier Fructis. Moga will lead new innovation and redevelopments for all of the Macadamia Beauty brands, including Macadamia Professional and éprouvage.

Moga graduated from Northeastern University with a degree in Chemical Engineering. She started her career at Genzyme, a biotech company in Boston, before transitioning to the beauty industry. She spent four years at Living Proof as a Chemist, developing various care products and aerosols. She then joined Crabtree & Evelyn in Connecticut, working on skin care and creating a hair care line. Later, Moga moved to New York to join L’Oreal as a Senior Chemist II in their hair styling group.
