Macadamia Professionalrelocated its corporate headquarters to Plano, TX from Chatsworth, CA as of January 5, 2015. Macadamia Professional, a subsidiary of Macadamia Beauty, LLC., offers haircare products using a blend of Macadamia oil for all hair textures.
The new 6,500 square ft. facility includes two conference rooms, several offices and an open-air concept, including a large area for product development and the creative department. The building sits in a recently built office park development, conveniently located 22 miles north of downtown Dallas in a suburban community, providing easy access to major highways and established residential communities.
“The move to Plano is our next step in the transition to the new brand by providing accessibility to a large pool of talent in the Dallas area as well as a cost-effective move to allow us to build a great facility and culture for our employees ,” said Vince Davis, CEO of Macadamia Professional.
With the move, Macadamia Professional has hired for many positions, with 23 employees now occupying the office. The office houses a dynamic team, including members of the marketing, education, finance, and sales departments. Macadamia Professional also has a location in the Netherlands, with 12 additional employees to assist in the execution of global distribution.
The product line offers hair care and styling products infused with a Pro Oil complex, consisting of a blend of Macadamia and Argan oils. All products are cruelty free, color safe and free of sulfates, parabens and gluten. Macadamia Professional launched 10 new products in January, designed for use by both professional stylists and consumers. The new Wash & Care line offers shampoos, conditioners, masques and oil treatments that are catered to an individual’s specific hair texture, with the Weightless collection for baby fine to fine hair, Nourishing products for normal to coarse hair and the Ultra Rich line for very coarse to coiled hair. A Styling line launched in Fall 2014 provides sculpting and setting products including a Foaming Volumizer, Taming Curl Cream, Activating Curl Cream, Blow Dry Lotion and Whipped Detailing Cream.
