Monaco Salon in Tampa has created an online video series titled "Beyond Salon", which is a salon series designed to show salon professionals a behind the scenes look at Monaco, as well as acting as a platform that supports the industry as a whole.

“We are here to not only educate, but to develop a brand and a platform that the industry as a whole can use,” says Jesus Abad. “The guys at Startup Street have been great in helping us develop this from scratch, and together we are setting the standard for marketing and media in the industry going forward. When you start putting together media content that is not self-centered, but actually allows others to get in on the action, the sky's the limit.”
Jesus and Krista Abad, the owners of Monaco, met in 2009 and opened their first salon together in 2010. Through a constant commitment to providing the best guest experience and having the best educated artists, combined with an incredible work ethic, they have managed to rise to the top in the Tampa market, claiming top salon honors three years in a row.
"The show is incredible, and what a benefit for my own brand to be able to come in, do my thing, and get the exposure,” says Trevor Moots, co-owner of Traditions Barber Shop in Orlando, who is featured in episode seven showing off his barbering skills . “Monaco is onto something big with this, and I’m just happy to be part of it.”
The most recent episode titled "Beautifully Undone" follows Krista and Artistic Director/Manager Dillon K as they take a client from a short, brunette bob to a long, flowing blonde with pops of pink using Short2Long hair extensions, Eyelash Specialist Joyce Elainee applying a natural look on a client, and John Paul Mitchell Platform Artists Olesia Vabishchevich creating a fabulous pink look on a blonde beauty.
Also, not to be overlooked is the highlighting of the John Paul Mitchell Invisiblewear collection and how much Monaco loves the product for a beautiful, undone look.
Episodes one through eight of Beyond Salon are currently live on Monaco Salon’s Facebook page.
