Macadamia Natural Oil announced the appointment of Scott Smith as Vice President of Business Development for Asia and Australia. Smith comes to Macadamia with over 20 years of beauty industry experience in multiple categories and channels with domestic and international markets. In this role, Smith will be responsible for customer development to include leadership and direction, market revenue, account management, analysis, forecasts, and coordinating and executing global and local initiatives. He will be working closely with the corporate team within all functional areas.
“I am delighted to welcome Scott to the Macadamia global expansion team. His proven and successful record of market results, revenue expansion and leadership abilities, as well as his deep understanding and experience within the Asia/Pacific marketplace, will help propel Macadamia’s continued growth internationally in the coming years,” said Vince Davis, CEO.
Prior to joining Macadamia, Smith was most recently International Sales Manager at OPI overseeing Asia Pacific. At OPI he was responsible for opening new markets and distribution areas while growing OPI retail presence in Singapore, Australia, Korea in fine department stores. He previously also held positions at Sebastian International.
