Shauky Gulamani has been named president of FHI Heat, a line of professional thermal styling appliances. Gulamani has more than 30 years of experience in the professional beauty industry where he has been instrumental in the development and expansion of many leading brands.
Gulamani’s expertise begins with being a hairdresser, educator and salon owner. He has built his career in manufacturing and distribution by directing several companies in the areas of sales, marketing, product innovation, and packaging, and by translating current fashion trends into product developments.
“As the president of FHI Heat, I look forward to continuing the company’s commitment to the salon stylist as well as providing world class education and superior products that help support the professional salon market,” says Gulamani. “In 2012, my plan is to continue to build relationships with stylists, salon owners and distributors around the world while listening to their needs.”
