There has been so much activity in the SHE by SO.CAP.USA world that the company decided to hold a press conference to fill us in on the activities. In addition to now officially changing the name to SheUSA, there are new launches including ponytails, new clip ins and clip in fringes, a line designed to enhance African American hair and a new liquid line called Argan For You which includes a shampoo, conditioning mask, a light oil and a light oil spray. Also introduced was a Leave-in Curling Cream.

At the press event, the SheUSA team presented a check for $235,000 to representatives of the American Cancer Society. The company announced today that it will be hosting its 6th Annual Pink Hair For Hope campaign, to raise funds in the hopes of finding a cure for breast cancer. This September and October, clients in participating salons who donate $10 or more to Pink Hair For Hope, will receive a 100% natural, pink SheUSA hair extension. All proceeds will directly benefit numerous cancer research organizations. “Participation in this annual Pink Hair For Hope campaign remains a very stylish way to show your personal support for such a worthy cause,” notes Ron Cardillo, Sr., President of SheUSA Hair Extensions. We’ve created this campaign to raise as much money and awareness as possible about this terrible disease. The special pink hair extension will celebrate a unifying bond with the many women who have been touched by the ill-effects of breast cancer.”  To date, the Pink Hair For Hope campaign has brought together more than 375 salons and has successfully raised close to $2 million dollars for many non-profit organizations such as the American Cancer Society and the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
