Redken's Vice President of Education Sheri Doss is gearing up for Symposium 2013, to be held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, January 20 - 22, 2013. 10,000 salon professionals are expected to attend this, the 36th Symposium, which is offering advanced education featuring all of Redken's favorite stars including Kris Sorbie, Chris Baran, Sam Villa, Ellen Lawlor, Jill Leitz, Leah Freeman and more. There will be specialty classes with presentations from Rodney Cutler, David Stanko, Michael Cole and Peter Millard among others....as well as Pureology programs with an "Expressions and Expertise" presentation from Wendy Belanger and Ruth Roche.

"There are so many special things planned for Symposium 2013," Sheri told me when I met with her at the Redken Exchange in NYC. "We will be offering the latest in color, design, media and business and even a 'People's Choice Class'. We want to make sure we are delivering relevant information."

Making this program even more special is the introduction of the "Ultimate Chromatics Haircolor Contest" which will offer interested artists an opportunity to showcase their talents at the grand opening event. "There will be two categories," says Sheri. "including Signature Color for experienced colorists and Young Talent designed for beauty school students or colorists with less than 2 years of experience." Sheri points out that interested colorists must enter this competition by September 30th.

Sheri expects the program to sell out quickly and suggests signing up as soon as possible. "Symposium 2013 will make it easier for artists to realize the Redken philosophy of 'learn better, earn better, live better'.  This is going to be a fantastic three days."
