He has performed at hundreds of educational events across the United States and around the globe, sharing with fellow salon professionals the latest techniques in coloring. George's learner friendly approach to teaching has made him one of the most requested hair color educators. An accomplished editorial stylist, George's work has graced the covers and pages of leading beauty publications around the world. A three time finalist for the North American Hairstylist Award, George continues to be an inspiration to everyone who comes in contact with his message.
DOUGLAS MCCOY OWNER OF HOUSE OF POP SALON: Douglas McCoy is a 26 year veteran of the Hair industry. Learning with some of the masters from Vidal Sassoon and Bumble and Bumble and R+Co then backstage at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, Douglas has proven himself through inspiration and desire to improve his craft. Photographers began collaborating with Douglas, finding his education invaluable to further their own work. Douglas became comfortable on both sides of the lens and a collective was formed called "House of POp" for this group of artistic minded individuals. Under House of POp they create media that serves to elevate the craft and create a home and brand for all involved. To Douglas, the craft means everything and bringing something new and exciting is an imperative. Douglas is also a 5 season veteran of Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and is a three time winner at the Hairbrained Video Awards.
