Eric Jeter rented a salon studio for two and a half years until he realized he missed the camaraderie of other stylists. Lauren Correll joined a JCPenney Salon right out of cosmetology school, and now, as a salon manager, brings her enthusiasm for the company and the profession to her team. Both agree they wouldn’t change the unique combination of independence, teamwork, opportunity and family spirit the company offers for anything.
After successful careers as a stylist, business owner, teacher and corporate manager, Udy Cheatham realized her true passion lies in coaching, training and guiding her fellow professionals. A friend suggested The Salon by InStyle as a place to put her calling into practice, and after three years in as a salon manager in Hurst, TX, she’s never been happier.
JCPenney is excited to announce the promotion of Rachel Jud to vice president and divisional merchandise manager of salon. In her new role, Jud is responsible for leading more than 750 JCPenney salon and Salon by InStyle locations, including more than 10,000 stylists nationwide.
When she graduated from cosmetology school, Alyssa Ventura was invited to visit the local JCP Salon. She checked it out, liked what she saw…and never left. Today she’s managing 30 stylists at The Salon by InStyle in Mentor, OH and loving her life.
When Aneesha Nichols started her career, JCPenney was the place to be. There, she built a clientele and realized her dream of becoming a platform artist. Today, she’s the manager of the Salon by InStyle in Langhorne, PA and proud to be a member of the JCPenney family.
