Just in time for a little shamrock shaking, we spied this glowing green by Sydney Ann Lopez @sydneyannlopezhair. Sydney specializes in creating brilliant blondes, bright rainbows and beautiful careers--she is also a social coach for stylists and salons. In one long session--we'll call it her Green Day--she transforms her client, not just giving her a new color but also leaving the hair shiny and reflective.
"7.5 HOURS. Yep. Transformations take TIME. From dark to green in one day!" Sydney says.
She documented the process and the steps to achieve this mermaid moment.
The Challenge
8 inches of virgin hair, 4 inches of level 5 permanent color, 12+ inches of previous balayage, with raspy pink painted over the ends.
The Goal
Dimensional GREEN hair.
The Process
Platinum card bleach placement over first 12” of hair; then lift roots
Color remover over ends.
Shampoo with Celeb Luxury teal + yellow (to create green) bccause the permanent color section lifted more orange than we wanted for green (pictures in this series),
Mixed 5 bowls of various greens... between levels 4-7
"Also, green looks so DIFFERENT in all the lights!?! Crazy!"
