The British-born Martin Dale spent more than 25 years leading education teams for L’Oréal’s Matrix brand.

Wella Company U.S. General Manager Nathalie De Gouveia has named veteran industry educator Martin Dale North America Education Leader.

“Martin has a long history of transforming education organizations into agile, modern, and effective power functions,” said De Gouveia. “He is the ideal leader to move Wella Education to the next level.”

Dale will oversee all aspects of Wella North America’s education, including curriculum, field in-person and hybrid education, social media and events, while developing a forward-looking strategy that will evolve
education to anticipate future professional needs.

The British-born Dale spent more than 25 years leading education teams for L’Oréal’s Matrix brand, starting regionally in the UK and moving into the Vice President of Education role in the USA. During his
tenure, he oversaw the transition of education delivery from live to hybrid. He built a powerful influencer community while at the same time instituting new events strategies, utilized globally.

A lifelong beauty professional (“My passport proudly still has ‘hairdresser’ as my profession”), Dale is a dedicated talent leader who nurtures other educators and inspires excellence in artistry and discipline in
service.
