Bobit, the parent company of MODERN SALON, SALON TODAY and NAILS, is now a family-owned entity under the leadership of Colin Sutherland, effective today. 

With a rich background in business marketing, Sutherland aims to enhance small business owners' access to valuable content and resources. His prior experience includes co-founding Geotab, where he developed telematics solutions that empower small trucking companies to improve their operations.

Recognizing the challenges small business owners face, Sutherland's mission is to bridge gaps in business operations and marketing. He plans to leverage Bobit’s platform to deliver authentic content across various channels, ensuring business owners can easily navigate their growth options.

“There has never been a more challenging time to be a business owner,” Sutherland stated, reaffirming his commitment to collaborating with advertisers and engaging with readers.
