Minerva Beauty, Inc. announced the launch of 3D and Augmented Reality (AR) features on its website, minervabeauty.com. This innovative addition allows customers to explore Minerva's expanding 3D furniture catalog, offering an immersive online shopping experience where they can view products from every angle and visualize them in their own space using AR.
"Purchasing equipment for your salon, spa, or barbershop is a significant investment. At Minerva Beauty, we are committed to providing innovative tools that empower our customers to make informed and confident decisions," said Megan Ferlito, VP of Marketing & Business Development at Minerva Beauty. "With 3D and AR, customers can interact with our furnishings in a whole new way-examining every angle and seeing how a piece will fit within their space before purchasing. We're excited to see how our customers use these tools to bring their vision to life."
Minerva's interactive 3D product viewer and AR functionality allow customers to select and visualize different configurations, colors, and finish options in real time. While the 3D catalog continues to expand, customers can currently explore most styling chair models and shampoo systems, with a growing number of styling stations available as well.
As technology continues to reshape the way businesses operate, Minerva Beauty remains at the forefront of innovation in the beauty and wellness industry. By integrating 3D imagery and AR, Minerva is streamlining the decision-making process so salon and spa owners can more confidently invest in new equipment. This cutting-edge feature eliminates guesswork, allowing more precise and informed choices that enhance both aesthetics and functionality-an essential advantage in a competitive industry where every detail matters.
Customers can access augmented reality directly from the product image carousel on Minerva Beauty product pages. Once the 3D model loads, they can rotate the product in any direction to view it from all angles, change colors and other options, then see the 3D rendering updates in real time.
On a mobile device: Tap the cube icon in the top right of the 3D viewer and point the phone camera where the furniture should appear.
On a laptop or desktop: Click the cube icon, then use a mobile device to scan the QR code. Tap the cube icon again and position the furniture in the desired space.
Adjust placement using touch gestures and capture a photo to share or reference later.
