Welcome to the next chapter of Ulta Beauty education and artistry! Ulta Beauty, Inc.introduces the Ulta Beauty Artist Collective, a reimagined collaboration of industry veterans and exceptionally skilled Ulta Beauty salon associates.
"As Ulta Beauty continues to invest in talent, innovation, and experiences, the Ulta Beauty Artist Collective formalizes the brand's commitment to artist advocacy and professional excellence," says Megan Murray, Ulta Beauty VP of Events and In-Store Experience. "We believe artists are the heart of the beauty community, and that investing in them benefits the entire ecosystem."
"The Ulta Beauty Artist Collective intentionally unites iconic industry voices with internal talent to reflect the modern beauty professional," explains Sarah Dahl, Ulta Beauty Director, Field Services Education. "We believe education fuels confidence, artistry drives inspiration, and Ulta Beauty is a place where beauty professionals can build lasting careers. We're committed to elevating professional beauty as a first-career choice and ensuring people see a clear, respected pathway forward."
Dahl and Haley Valadez, Ulta Beauty Sr. Manager, Creative Services and Talent, both started their Ulta Beauty career journeys as successful stylists behind the chair. Together, they champion the Ulta Beauty Artist Collective as a movement that celebrates the impact beauty professionals make every day, both behind the chair and beyond it.
"We embrace every texture, every trend and every expression of artistry by showcasing Ulta Beauty's inclusive spectrum of beauty expertise," Valadez says. "The Ulta Beauty Artist Collective will bring this to life by creating experiences and education to inspire both artists and guests. Whether it's backstage at a shoot, on a show floor, in our stores, or online, the Artist Collective helps demonstrate that beauty happens wherever artistry and passion meet."
Ulta Beauty Artist Collective members will be present at major industry events, on set for Ulta Beauty campaigns, in educational spaces, and across social and digital channels where inspiration thrives, Valadez says. "You'll see them leading trend conversations, demonstrating new techniques, collaborating with brand partners, and shaping the beauty stories that inspire our community."
Ultimately, the Ulta Beauty Artist Collective reinforces what artists already know: beauty is a profession built on passion, skill, and community. And now more than ever, Ulta Beauty celebrates the people who bring beauty to life every day.
Say hello to your besties in education, inspiration and innovation. The Ulta Beauty Artist Collective is a community of leading artists - all in one place, all in one unified group.
