Amanda Gorecki, founder and owner of Healing Waters Spa and Pure MD Skincare Science, shares her tips on how to keep skin looking youthful and beautiful.

1. Use a Stem Cell Moisturizer

Using a stem cell moisturizer, such as Rich & Loving It from Pure MD, repairs dry, damaged skin.  Peptide technology acts to rebuild the cutaneous matrix by stimulating biosynthesis and fibroblast proliferation.  It is an excellent moisturizer for those with intense dryness.

2. Use a Hydrating and Calming Mask

Use a refreshing, hydrating gel mask dense with antioxidants and healing properties essential for calming red, irritated, and rosacea-prone skin. Antioxidant Delight from Pure MD provides potent antioxidant, astringent and anti-inflammatory benefits. These masks are excellent for dehydrated skin or post sun exposure.

3. Use a Hydrating Toner

Use a hydrating, anti-aging toner that boosts skin moisture levels and helps skin maintain pH balance.  Youth Fusion from Pure MD is excellent for dry skin or delicate skin in the recovery phase following an intense exfoliating treatment.

4. Use Sunblock Everyday

Sun damage is the number cause of skin aging.

5. Always Wash Your Face at Night

Your skin rejuvenates itself at night.  Leaving on makeup can clog the pores and dry out the skin.

6. Antioxidants Are a Must

Antioxidants fight off free radicals.  They are the number one defense against aging.

7. Hydrate Everyday

All skin types must hydrate- even oily ones!  Think of a grape; when it’s hydrated, it’s plump and smooth.  When it’s dehydrated, it becomes a raisin.

8. Retinol, Retinol, Retinol!

Retinol stimulates collagen production in the skin, helping to firm and plump.  It is the best anti-aging ingredient out there.
