Top-performing post: I posted a before-and-after photo for a color correction pricing breakdown contest from The Hair Doctor (Gina Bianca) and I won! I think it was so popular because stylists AND clients all wanted to know how much exactly everything cost per hour for color correction.

Pro tip: The story you tell with your post is the most important thing. The ability to connect with an audience will have more impact than just a good shot. The education you give online is so worth the time and effort.
Hidden talent: I can do multiple braids with my eyes closed!
My audience follows me because: They know I genuinely care about them. That I share not only my love for hair and education but also my passion for growth, human connection and spreading love.
How social media changed my life: Social media is where I found my tribe of like-minded hairstylists who share the same obsession with learning and growing as an artist. I have life-long hair besties all around the world now thanks to Instagram. It’s also where I’ve gotten so many life-changing opportunities such as sponsorships, campaigns, becoming an ambassador for different companies, launched my grief support group and grew my education platform. The real connections that I’ve made are invaluable.
My first @modernsalon feature: The day it happened I literally started jumping up and down screaming and shrieking! MODERN posted one of my all-time favorite blondes! I remember taking the picture and thinking, this is THE shot! She was wearing the most perfect red lip, and it looked gorgeous with her white blonde hair!
