Pro tip: I believe lighting is so important because it’s going to help you capture the shot! The best lighting to me is indirect, outside or inside in front of a window. Less clutter in the backgrounds the better, or defocus the background.
Hidden talent: I’m really good at extensions and color matching. Custom coloring is my favorite thing to do! I don’t post a lot about it but I’m obsessed with it!
My audience follows me because: I think they love my work, which shows my passion and continuous education.
How social media changed my life: It’s made my journey as a hairstylist better because it’s helped me reach future clientele by creating a page unique to what I like and gives my clients information to reach me. It helps continue my education. I have such a passion for sharing my work to attract future clientele and help other stylists as well or give them inspiration. Social media gives me inspiration as well being able to look at everyone’s work—it’s full circle!
My first @modernsalon feature: I was featured for a lived-in look that also had a few feathers beaded into her hair for a boho look! It was one of my favorite looks, and I was so excited to be featured!
