Born and raised: San Diego, CA

I am known for: I’d say I’m most known for Creating natural textures and slept in blowouts. Taking a subtle approach and keeping things minimal.  That, and a unique, loud (maybe too loud ) laugh.

I would love to makeover: Anyone who wants to collaborate and is open to change.

Favorite item in my wardrobe: A oversized black cashmere sweater from The Row.

Favorite accessory: A small gold coin I wear on a chain that belonged to my grandmother.

My guilty pleasure: Skincare, I’ve always preferred a facial over a massage and am constantly trying new products.

For inspiration I turn to: Iconic women and their personal style. When starting with a new client I love to discuss women who’s aesthetic they admire and together discover who our muse will be.

Best piece of advice I ever received: Growing up my grandmother would often say to me, “Bloom where you’re planted,” reminding me to live life in the moment and not to let things pass you by so easily. I think of this almost daily, checking tin with myself to ensure I’m finding the joy in whatever I am doing.

My mentor: My grandmother, Luise Scarlett

My style icon: Heath Ledger

My best vacation: I’ve been going back to this same small cove on the Amalfi Coast every August for years now, with the same group of friends. It’s my favorite part of the year.

Every beauty professional should: Get great joy out of what they do, if you’re not having fun you’re doing it wrong.

My secret weapon: Remaining calm. I’m often in high stress situations at work and the only way I get through is keeping myself as calm as possible, so I can keep a clear vision and work path.

I relax by: Being outside, I’ve recently left New York for Los Angeles and am so happy to be in Southern California again. It was a true homecoming. I spend as much time hiking as I can and I’d say eating dinner outside is my absolute favorite pass time.

Shout out to someone who helped me along the way: Tracey Cuningham, Tracey took me under her wing when I was 19 years old working as an Assistant. She got me my first agent and introduced me to my first client, Lily Aldridge, who also in turn opened so many doors for me. Years later Tracy continues to be a force in the industry and inspires me to this day.

The coolest look I ever created: Margot Robbie for the London premier of 'I,Tonya'

I am most proud of: My relationships with my family and friends

For fun I: Love to shop! Mostly for antiques, plants and flowers

Favorite place on earth: The beach I grew up on in Cardiff by the Sea

My favorite styling trick or tip: Nothing too perfect - beauty is in the mistakes

The one tool or product I use most often: Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium

The talent I would most like to have is: I’d love to be able to sing.

The one word or phrase I overuse: Babe
