How it felt to be recognized in public for the first time: I was shocked, got a little awkward- but was so honored!
Best way to build a clientele from social media: Post all of your work. Show transformations and before & afters. Stay up to date on the latest trends. Strategically Hashtag each post. (I always make sure to hashtag #chicagosalon, #chicagohairstylist, #beautyapp, and #bridalhair)
Favorite app for pics/editing/collage: I was just introduced to PS Express & I am obsessed! (they might possibly have better filters than instagram :) ).
Shout out to someone who helped you along the way: Jenna Zielbauer! She started as a client, but has become an amazing friend. She is a total girlboss inspiration and always has the best advice, not to mention she has a killer clothing line (Casual Friday Apparel).
I would love to makeover: Blake Lively-- and not because she needs a makeover at all! More so because she just has amazing hair & I want to play with it!
