Sometimes in the search for new and alternative trends, we forget that beautiful, iconic styles are timelessly flattering and can be made new to suit the modern woman. In this collection by Michael Angelo, founder and creative director of Wonderland Beauty Parlor in New York City, three looks reflect the classic styles of Marilyn Monroe, Veronica Lake and Gisele Bundchen.

"After working with The Beachwaver backstage at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show, I was inspired to experiment with it on set with some of my favorite muses from One.1 Management and photographer Pele Joez," Angelo says. "We wanted to create a collection of looks which celebrate 'pretty.' So much energy today is focused on deconstruction and distress that it's easy to forget that sometimes pretty hair is wonderful."

The two old Hollywood looks were created by curling hair under in a horizontal set for full-bodied, glamourous waves. The Gisele Bundchen-inspired style was waved in alternating left and right vertical sections to create classic beachwaves. Hair was prepped for styling with Oribe Maximista before being set with the Beachwaver Pro and finished with a combination of Oribe Dry Texture Spray and Oribe Surfcomber Tousled Texture Mousse.
