Favorite apps for social and why: I just discovered the PicsArt app and it has everything I need in one. I can customize the watermark by bending it around the hair or make it a straight line, I can crop the picture into a shape. There is just so much you can do with this app.
Best tip for getting the best results on a post: Finding the natural light helps with the quality so much. I don't like to go directly in the sun, though. I move my guests around a few times to find the right light and they even get excited about helping me along the way.

Passion other than beauty: Living in Hawaii, I am exposed to some amazing hikes, beaches and restaurants and like to take advantage of those things with my husband.
How social media changed his/her life: Social media has opened so many doors for me. I am constantly entering hair-related contests. Any time I win one of those it has been such great exposure and very humbling. My in-salon clientele improved because clients see my work on social media and come to me for my style. Including awards and achievements in my bio description also shows dedication and drive for doing hair, and clients like seeing that.
The professional products she can’t live without: I am obsessed with the new Aveda Invati Thickening Intensive Conditioner. I would have my home smell like that scent if I could! The hair is silky and smooth after using it.
