Now in its 70th year, The Fellowship for British Hairdressing hosted its annual The Luncheon & Awards on Monday, Dec 4 at the Dorchester Hotel in London. The event recognizes those individuals, companies and project leaders who have contributed to the Fellowship and the beauty industry as a whole. Chancellor Karine Jackson, President Bruno Marc and Chairman Jo Martin passed out multiple awards for exceptional talent, including one to Affinage Global Ambassador Tracey Devine Smith.
“I am so ecstatic and proud of this honor," Smith says. "Thank you to Affinage for everything and to the Fellowship for its ongoing support. The world really does shine bright with many stars, and I am blessed to accept this award.”
Smith, who was not in attendance due to previous commitments, was awarded the Terry Calvert Image of the Year for her incredible work in this year’s Candy Pop Collection. The winning image features a blunt, above-the-shoulder bob with a silvery/purple taken from the roots to 3/4 length down before being smudged into a slightly pastelized mango color.
