Store client info, create a customizable schedule and digitally recommend products to clients with the new CosmoProf app.

CosmoProf has launched its CosmoProf app, which is available for free in the App Store and Google Play.
Designed for all salon professionals—independents, stylists, nail techs, owners and more.
Features include management of appointments, client history, photos and formulas, retail recommendations, how-tos videos and step-by-steps, plus access to credit-card processing through Square.
“Everyone has so many apps on their phones, but only a few we really go to and depend on,” says Jen Wilder, VP of marketing for CosmoProf. “We wanted to make sure we created an app that helps stylists thrive.”
Another perk of the app is the Loxa Scripts functionality, which allows stylists to recommend products to clients via text message or email.
“You can’t keep all of the inventory for all of your favorite products,” says Phillip Ring, a stylist in Providence, Rhode Island, who is perhaps best known as @phildoeshair on Instagram, and a member of the CosmoProf artistic team. “With the app, if you want to sell those products to your clients, you can send them Loxa Scripts right from your phone. Your clients can buy any product or tool from you, and you get a commission from it.”
Within the app, beauty professionals can also access a store locator and a digital version of their CosmoProf store card.
“From full-service salons looking to store and manage client photos and information, to renters who will use every single feature of the app every day, there is something for every beauty pro in this app,” Wilder says.
