The first ever Manhattan Ulta Beauty opened this week on the Upper East Side at 86th and 3rd Avenue. MODERN was there at the grand opening to see the spacious and lovely ground level store and salon that features floor to ceiling windows, rows of products and tools (more than 20,000!) and a tasteful 9 station salon hosted by 24 highly trained salon professionals.
Members of the press and community were there to try some services (dry styling, make up touch ups, brow shaping or skin care treatments from Skin Laundry or Dermalogica), meet with Ulta executives and chat with the members of Ulta Beauty team led by Chief Artistic Director Nick Stenson who says "Ulta Beauty takes Manhattan" and that "This is our Ulta Beauty on steroids."
