Most viral post: A hair-painted purple and blue Pulp Riot mermaid hair. She had medium length hair so you could see all the colors. I’ve had a red and blonde contrasted color video viewed almost 13,000 times and another viewed almost 10,000 times.
Favorite apps: I love Boomerang for actions shots mostly in my stories. I use Airbrush for faces or blemishes or to blur a background. I also like photo Flipper to change from left to right.

Hidden Talent: Interior design whether it’s at home or at the salon. My business partner and I searched for natural light in a space and we found exactly that - it pours in at our new location.
How social media changed my life: It’s basically what my motto is: “Do what it takes.” I want to be proud of my work every day so I will do what it takes to make that happen. There is something so gratifying when your happy with the result, but when your clients are proud that you’re their hairdresser that’s the icing on the cake.
The first time I was featured on MODERN’s Insta: It was so exciting like “I can’t believe it!” It was a beautiful blonde with a 40’s wavy style. The photo was a mirrored image and her color was so shiny. I opened my Instagram and saw a tag and there it was Modern Salon reposted my photo. I honestly teared up. Modern Salon continued to pick a variety of my photos from a before and after: a Caramel Balayage, a peekaboo rainbow bob and a blonde adorned by a Pink Pewter headband. I am so grateful excited each and every time. Hair is my first love since I can remember and continues to be for now and always.
