Most viral post: Sam Villa’s team had me do some of the inspiration collections for ULTA I created the desert theme. The only problem is I live in Utah and it was a winter and a blizzard outside. I created a tutorial and found a nursery that let me take pics with some of their cactus. I put all the pics together and sent it in! The next day the SV team called me so excited, that my work was chosen to be featured with ULTA. For some reason I thought it was a guaranteed thing, but when they told me it wasn’t I definitely was blown away!
Favorite apps: Lightroom
Favorite hashtags: #modernsalon #kenraproffessional #licensedtocreate
Who I’m following: @cassiakovic @passionsquared @morganstewart
Pro tips: It’s all about the angle I have my model move their head at different angles. I am not opposed to climbing on random objects to get my shot!
Hidden talent: I love to bake! I can make a pretty good chocolate-chip cookie!
How social media changed your life: Social media has opened so many doors for me as a professional. I have been able to work with my dream brands, charge more for services, book out my salon appointments in just a few hours. I have been able to travel, work with my favorite artists, and meet so many amazing friends!
The first time I was featured on MODERN SALON’s Insta: It’s always fun to wake up and see that a big brand like Modern Salon has featured your work! I always call my mom first because she is my biggest fan!
