Mackenzie Tereault's specialty is, in our opinion, creating #hairgoals. Her master of brondes is so on-trend that we can't stop fan-girling over her stunning work. Her page features a consistent, clean aesthetic and everything from extension transformations to color before and afters and intricate braids.

Most viral post: The post that went most viral was a picture of three girls with braids by @Taylor_lamb_hair, myself and @hairby_Chrissy. We had so many shares then and still so many to this day.
Favorite apps: Facetune - Depending on the time of day sometimes our background we use for pictures will sometimes turn brown, I love being able to “white it out” with the Facetune whitening tool so my photos have a cleaner look and my followers can focus on the beauty of the hair I’m presenting.
Favorite hashtags: #hairoftheday #hairgoals #habitsalon

Pro tips: Find the best times to post, for me weekdays either morning or evening are best. Always include location, tag products used in the photo, in the comments use your favorite hashtags, you can use up to 30 so make them count to expand your reach!
Hidden talent (beauty-related): I give an amazing shampoo! I would say 9/10 of my clients compliment me while about 8/10 of my clients tell me I could be a masseuse.
Hidden talent: Interior design; I get this from my mother. We are really good at repurposing old things and making them look new!
How social media changed my life: I would say social media is my second language, I’ve been able to communicate with other people that I otherwise would not. It has promoted me from being someone who wasn’t recognized to helping me establish an audience who I’m always trying to share my best piece of work with.
The first time I was featured on MODERN’s Insta: The first time I was featured on MODERN SALON’s Instagram was when I created a super simple half up half down look. I really like to create looks that can be done by anyone, and this one involved a beautiful balayage, two hair ties and a great head of hair. Since then I’ve had so many accounts repost this look and clients coming in and asking for this to be done to their hair.
