Most viral post: My most viral post was a color I did when Pulp Riot first came out. I ordered the starter kit with all of the colors and wanted to try them all so my beautiful friend let me experiment on her head. I instantly fell in love. I had just been to a Goonies Workshop and learned some amazing styles from Bridget House in which I incorporated into the post and the second I shared it, it was reposted 6 times.
Favorite apps: My favorite app I use for my Instagram pictures is Facetune. I like to blur out or defocus my backgrounds so the focal point of the picture is the hair I create. I like using this more than Portrait mode on my IPhone camera because sometime I feel like Portrait mode makes my colors appear warmer than they actually are.

Pro tips: Be consistent. Make sure you are posting once a day and make sure it is clean photos with quality content.
Hidden Talent (beauty-related): I actually really love doing men’s cuts! I only wanted to do them when I graduated beauty school but my instructor told me I should definitely do color also. Now I find that I have very little mens cuts in my chair because I am so busy making mermaids.
Hidden Talent: I took clogging lessons as a kid.
How social media has changed your life: Social Media changed my life because with my boyfriend’s work we have had to move across the country twice now. With that it helped me rebuild and put clients in my chair by simply posting pictures of what I love, HAIR! It’s connected me with some of the best friends I have ever had and it keeps me inspired.
The first time I was featured on MODERN’s Insta: It was for a before and after mermaid transformation! The girl had a level 5 color on her hair and wanted pastels. There was NO WAY I thought that was going to happen, but the hair gods were with me and MODERN SALON saw that.
