Artistic Director of Color for John Paul Mitchell Systems Colin Caruso says silver systems aren’t easy and can often leave clients frustrated if their expectations aren’t met. He says to formulate properly and get a proper silver tone, stylists need to lift light enough and oftentimes pretone, which can take some time.
