Most viral post: My sisters are always willing to let my creativity take over during styling. I took a few photos of them together, because their colors compliment each other so well. I put in a few braids and victory rolls and snapped a few images. It was late when I posted the image. By morning, that image had been shared on eight major beauty pages.

Pro tip: The quirky side of me likes to make sure my last six posts go together aesthetically. I will wait to post a bright, bold color if I have several pastels back to back.

How social media changed my life: I graduated cosmetology school in 2012 and at that time we were only taught all-over color, highlights and lowlights. Balayage, colormelts, ombre, sombre, foilayage, base-breaking, pastels and metallics are just a few examples of how quickly social media has progressed our world of color. Without social media for learning, I would not only be behind, but I would find my creativity stifled.
The first time I was featured on MODERN SALON: I won the #playingwithblue contest. It had been a goal since I joined Instagram; I am so glad I never stopped tagging @modernsalon.
