When she’s not at Chick-Fil-A (seriously, she loves it), Katlin Green is busy slaying the world of blonding and extensions as the Dallas hair queen. Her salty finishes and beautiful blends have us feeling like we’re deep in the heart of Texas.
Top-performing post: One of my most engaged posts is a photo of a brunette bob with ribbons of honey-toned balayage. I have reposted it to my account several times, and it goes viral every single time. It’s all over Pinterest. I always post different captions with it; it’s never the same. I think people love the simplicity of it. It complements my client so well and represents a gorgeous natural balayage with the perfect base color to match it!
Favorite apps: Facetune to make my backgrounds look smooth and crisp; Snapseed to perfect my backgrounds; Videoshop to create multiple clips and slow down or speed up my videos when needed.

Pro tip: Next to having a great crisp photo to post, your caption is everything. Planning your caption and speaking from your heart, letting your followers know you are a real human behind the screen. I love trying my best to be relatable, speaking truth about the things that people don’t like to share. I also like engaging through my captions, asking questions, opinions and creating discussion.
Hidden talent: I can roll a really good perm!
My audience follows me because: I think they love to follow me because I’m so open. I love sharing all of my knowledge with them. I try being as detailed as possible during my lives, hoping somebody watching is learning.
How social media changed my life: It has connected me with so many supporting stylists around the country! I have gained so many amazing clients and friends through social media. It’s an amazing platform to use to spread your knowledge and positivity!

MODERN SALON has reposted it a couple of times since then saying it was one of their favorite transformations through their Facebook!
