Athena Salon & Spa's Fearless Youth collection features various young and edgy looks you can try on your younger clientele.
"This collection was inspired by a guest of Athena Salon & Spa and a stunning chair design found in an art deco magazine. Our guest, Sierra, has always worn an amazing Mohawk with different variations of blues and greens. After seeing the details an intricate design in the chair shortly after attending Aveda Congress we started to put our ideas together collectively as a team," says owner, Mary Rolling.
Make-up for the photo shoot came from Aveda's Culture Clash Spring/Summer 2014 Collection.
SIERRA:
Natural Level 4
"We started with Aveda Enlightener and Aveda 20-volume color catalyst on the new growth, and followed with Aveda enlightener and Aveda 30-volume color catalyst on the mid shaft to ends. To create the blue, we used 10 grams of the Aveda pure pigment blue, 30 grams of the Aveda Full Spectrum Universal 0N, and 40ml of the Aveda 5-volume color catalyst.
Extension:
Vomor extension 4 natural
Vomor extension 12 enlightened with 20-volume and colored with Aveda pure pigment blue.
ALICIA:
Natural Level 4
"We started with Aveda Enlightener and Aveda 20-volume color catalyst on the new growth. We followed with Aveda Enlightener and Aveda 30-volume color catalyst from the mid shaft to the ends. The final color formula used was 40 grams Full Spectrum 10N, 2 grams of the Full Spectrum Light Blue/blue, and 40 ml of the Aveda 10-volume color catalyst.

DIANDRA:
Natural Level 4
"For her color we used 10g Full Spectrum 5n, 30g of the Full Spectrum Intense Base, and 8g of the Aveda pure pigment red with 20 volume color catalyst.
The Vomor Extensions were a level 12, enlightened with the 20 volume color catalyst and colored with 10g Aveda pure pigment red, 30 g On and 40 ml 5 volume color catalyst."
ROBBY:
Natural Level 2
"For his color we used 20g of the Aveda Demi 2N with 20 ml of the Demi Crème Color Activator."
STYLING FOR ALL LOOKS: Aveda Pure Abundance Style Prep was applied to damp hair to create weightless, flexible volume. Each look was completed with Aveda Control Force Hair Spray for long-lasting hold.
