Marie Simone, owner of Shi Salon in St. Louis, is a creative force whose talents have made her an editorial favorite. Like all artistic souls, she finds inspiration from a variety of sources.


“While working in Prague, I was inspired by the breathtaking architecture and the way the color danced off the buildings,” says Simone. “My creative eye instantly saw the Amber Lights collection; luscious reddish-orange hues paired with a bright white eye.”

Simone uses Davines products in her salon and turned to Sea Salt Primer to give the hair fullness, body and texture along with an uncombed, “on the beach” style. She nished the look with Davines No. 10 Universal Polishing Coat to add shine and control.
