The master artists on the Aquage team know that creating any art at an expert level demands an intense focus on the details of the craft. Precision, discipline, repetition—all are part of the creative dance if the goal is beauty at the highest degree of difficulty.
While collaborating this fall with America’s Beauty Show and Chicago’s world-renowned Joffrey Ballet to create imagery for the ABS 2013 spring show, this philosophy was reinforced en pointe.
Aquage VP of Creative and Education Luis Alvarez and his colleagues were so inspired during the America’s Beauty Show campaign shoot, they invited the model from the Joffrey ensemble to join them on tour for Aquage Masterclass Academies in Las Vegas and Baltimore. They committed to stretching their hair design limits to demonstrate and photograph intricate, avant garde hair sculptures to complement the strong, classic prima ballerina poses of the dancer.
