Sarajane Maples, @blushandmane, has honed in on an aesthetic that is individually hers, complete with pops of color and airy movement.

On clients, she is known for her romantic, effortless looking updos. Inside her salon’s, Studio Sage, studio and beyond, her editorial work is creative, colorful and a bit whimsical. These descriptors shine through in her latest collection, Con-Textural.

The collection was inspired by textiles and clothing fabrics. She custom-colored Hairtalk extensions with Pravana color. The extensions were styled into headpieces, cut and knit to look like patchwork and fluffy pieces of crochet. Styles were created using Aiir Professional products.

“I spent months planning and creating this collection,” Maples wrote on Instagram. “This truly felt like some of my best work…I’m so very proud of these images!”
