Los Angeles-based Jordana Lorraine (@jordanalorraine), a hairstylist Master Certified in Brazilian Blowout, gave her young client a makeover that she outlines below.

“This young lady had a home haircolor mishap (or four),” shares Lorraine on her Instagram feed. “A natural blonde, she dyed it reddish brown…then darker brown…then attempted two corrective colors at home, leaving her hair brassy at the roots, dusty at the ends, dray and traumatized all over.  She, of course, wanted a pale, bright blonde, and didn’t want to cut her hair.”

FORMULA AND STEPS:

“Using Olaplex Bond Multiplier with Schwarzkopf Lightener and 40 volume (yes, I said 40 volume) for 20 minutes. I lightened her to a beautiful, consistent, pale color.”

Toned with Shades EQ: 5oz Crystal Clear, .25oz 08N, .25oz 09V, .25oz 09T for 5 minutes on the first 6 inches then ran it through the ends very briefly.

Applied, Olaplex Blond Perfector for 10 minutes, then shampooed and conditioned.

“Not only was it light, bright and beautiful but it was silky, strong and healthier than before!”
