When a client asks for more volume, a hairdresser hears "density."  Hair extensions are brilliant at adding instant length and pops of color, but they are also able to add that fullness that signals youth and vitality.

In this video, DreamCatchers Educator Dorothy works with a simple V-shaped install using DreamCatchers I-tips, a patented system exclusive to the brand, and blends two colors to get some beautiful dimension.

“Working with the round and height of her head, I’m sectioning along the parietal edge and then dipping down into a steep, deep ‘V’ to reach back to the occipital bone.  By placing hair extensions in these areas, you’re enhancing the areas that have height,” Dorothy says.

Dorothy emphasizes creating the proper balance and shows us how to keep the sections clean and clear out fine, flyaway hairs during installation.  The entire video is less than 15 minutes.
