At the most recent ARTIST SESSION, Danielle Keasling was playing around with some of the tools in the goody bag. When she pulled out the HOT TOOLS curling iron and transformed assistant Khristina from sleek to a more voluminous and textured finish, we asked her to share.

"When looking to add volume or texture to short hair, most stylists would first grab a flat iron," says Danielle. "When dealing with short hair, many are afraid that a curling iron will put too much bend in the hair and end up looking dated. If you know how to section and elevate properly, the finished look can look quite modern and fresh."
