At the Ines Di Santo Couture Bridal Collection Spring/Summer 2017 runway show, Felix Fischer for Pai-Shau created fresh, modern bridal looks, with hair that is worn down to emphasize its movement and healthy shine.
“The looks are youthful and modern but with a refined softness and a luxurious texture, so fluid that strands flow as effortlessly as silk,” Fischer says.
The hair is accented with clearly defined parts and has a natural gloss, with strands looking light, airy and flowing as if free of any product. Models also wore pulled-back looks with pastel flowers to suit the bridal theme.
“Creating this style was a sophisticated process and the result of the unique ways we applied and layered Pai-Shau products, blow-dried and flat-ironed the hair,” Fischer says.
GET THE LOOK:
STEP 1: Mist the hair until damp and comb Pai-Shau Royal Abundance Mousse into the hair, from the mid-length to the ends.
STEP 2: Apply Pai-Shau Biphasic Infusion (3-5 pumps) and massage into the hair from the mid-length to the ends. Then twist strands and massage Biphasic Infusion into ends with both hands to penetrate deeply and repair. This instantly smooths dry or split ends, smooths the cuticle and adds shine.
STEP 3: Create a part mid-crown from ear to ear, then blow dry small, one-inch sections forward and down (with a medium round brush) to build in subtle volume, smooth the hair and the root.
STEP 4: Next blow-dry the remaining back section down from the crown, working in one-inch sections using a medium sized round brush. “There was a lot of heat and pulling to get the right texture, but with these two Pai-Shau products I had no fear of burning or damaging the hair,” says Fisher. “They actually hydrated and enhanced its condition.”
STEP 5: Spray Pai-Shau Imperial Hold Hairspray over the top/forward and bottom/back sections of the hair.
STEP 6: Use a flatiron to further sleek and straighten the top/forward and bottom/back sections of hair from roots to ends.
STEP 7: Comb the front section back and blend it with rest of hair. Lightly tap Pai-Shau Style Soufflé on top of the hair and massage in, to give a boost of smoothness without heaviness or weight and to control any remaining flyaways.
STEP 8: Finish with a light spray of Pai-Shau Sublime Hold Hairspray for soft, moveable hold.
