With auditions that took place in the beginning of January 2019 in Los Angeles, L’ANZA added five Advanced Healing Artists to join existing member Mark Dolan on the Artistic Design Team.

L’ANZA’s newest members of the Artistic Design Team include Sarah Mac, Catlin Weston, Christina Carter, Raven Feurer and Tashya Garoutte. Their new position at L’ANZA allows each artist the opportunity to participate in corporate photoshoots, lead national training sessions, and spread #lanzalove at trade shows. 

BIOS OF THE ARTISTS

Sarah Mac
Sarah is best known for her expert work with blondes, braids, and upstyles. Her portfolio includes features in MODERN SALON and other local magazines. Sarah lives to create texture, in hair and in life. A dynamic force from the platform to the classroom, Sarah has traveled all over the US training and inspiring stylists to be their best. Full of energy and passion, Sarah’s classes are always open and interactive. At home in Los Angeles, Sarah recently opened Mac Ranch Studio, where she looks forward to every client transformation – big or small.

Tashya Garoutte
Tashya brings her unique skill set and “wow” factor to every platform, class, and workshop. A dynamic and extremely versatile artist, she has led programs in cut, color, style, facilitation, and team building for audiences from 5 to 500. Tashya is also a leading force in the L’ANZA Elite Training Team, responsible for mentoring, growing, and advancing new Healing Artists.

Catlin Weston
With a passion for fashion, Catlin has been the trusted Lead Stylist for the Twin Cities’ largest fashion shows, Voltage Fashion Amplified and Retro Rama, eight years running. She traveled to New York to style Fashion Week in 2010 and supported the L’ANZA Global Creative Team at the House of HARBISON shows at New York Fashion Week in 2015. Specializing in curly hair, color, event and bridal styling, Catlin’s second home is Evolution Salon, L’ANZA’s first Healing Center, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Raven Feurer
Specializing in hair color, formal finishing, upstyles, and haircutting, Raven has participated in countless ad campaigns, celebrity styling events, and fashion shows. She brings both strong technical expertise and an insightful nature to everything she does. As an educator, her immense talent and down-to-earth charisma inspires stylists at every level. A salon owner in Salt Lake City, Utah, Raven is committed to sharing valuable knowledge and techniques to make everyone more efficient.

Christina Carter
Christina has been an educator for more than half of her 12-year professional career. Leading show teams and training programs all over the United States, she believes that the road to mastery is paved with practice. As a L’ANZA Advanced Healing Artist, Christina’s goal is to always nurture and encourage everyone’s inner artist to show up and keep growing. When she’s not inspiring the minds of hairstylists, Christina is at Aqua Salon in Chicago, Illinois. She specializes in color and unique color application techniques, along with short hair designs and extremely thick hair.
