In this exclusive collection from the artists behind Great Lengthsextensions, models were transformed with whimsical finishes that include pops of vibrant color, intricate weaves, interesting fringe effects and, varying levels of texture and volume.

Artists worked in teams of two to develop unique looks to capture the beauty and transformative power of Great Lengths extensions.

As creative director for Great Lengths, Danielle Keasling led the creative collaboration among the artists—working with each team to help bring their vision to life, in what is the first total creative shoot the team at Great Lengths has ever executed.

Keasling, who has won multiple North American Hairstyling Awards for her photoshoot work, knows first-hand the importance of flexing that on-set muscle and having creative freedom to showcase artistic ability.

“Through this shoot, we were able to give a full expression of this team’s passion and love for hair and extensions,” Keasling says. “Artist Vincent Van Gogh once said, ‘One can speak poetry just by arranging colors well,’” Keasling says. “I believe the same is true for hair.” It was this quote that fueled the inspiration behind the collection.

After each team collaborated to develop a moodboard, they gathered in New York to bring their unique visions to life.

“On set, once the magic started, I knew that not only did we elevate Great Lengths’ creative platform but we lifted and inspired the education team, our corporate team in Kansas City, and the stylists and team involved that day,” Keasling says. “And, we created a true expression of the detail, the workmanship, heart and passion of what Great Lengths extension artists give both on-set and every day in their salon.”
