Polaris by Christian Ríos is a collection inspired by the northern lights, that gives prominence to soft and harmonious colors, which at the same time are strong and eye-catching, with feathering and soft finishes.
His work transmits the force of nature and its coldness and explores how different effects of light influence us.
The collection features a cold image, with pale skin, make-up with a “gloss” touch, and changing clothes with gel inside that give a futuristic feel. An editorial result that gives importance to fashion, both in the images in general as in the clothes, and in which hair recreates a new presence thanks to its shapes and color.
Ríos ends a remarkable year at a professional level, not only because he’s a finalist for theInternational Association of Professional Press awards in two categories, Best Color and Best Men, but because he achieved it on his first try of presenting his candidacy. Polaris competes in Best Color.
