Louis A. Benevento Sr. passed away on September 23, 2018 in Edgewater, NJ. Benevento worked for the V.J.Curcio family for almost 30 years, designing and making salon furniture. A true artist, Benevento impacted many salon owners from the late 50’s through 1980.

Louis A. Benevento Sr. passed away on September 23, 2018 in Edgewater, NJ. Benevento worked for the V.J.Curcio family for almost 30 years, designing and making salon furniture. A true artist, Benevento impacted many salon owners from the late 50’s through 1980.
Benevento was born on November 12, 1932 in N.Y.C and was the youngest of 13 children. He married the love of his life, Caryle (nee) Cospito in 1954 while stationed in the U.S. Army at Fort Riley in Kansas and was the beloved husband of Caryle and devoted father to Louis Benevento, Jr. (Lisa), Mark Benevento (Andrea), Karen DeMarco (Carmine), as well as the loving father-in-law to Melissa Benevento. He was the adored grandfather and PopPop to Victoria, Mark Jr., Matthew, Nicole and Paul.
The family will receive their friends & family Thursday, September 27, 2018 at A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Avenue, Cliffside Park, N.J. from 10am-1pm with service at 12noon.
