Working with Aveda color and products, Jennifer Sarchet of The Establishment LA salon combined a lovely rose gold color with a sombre--soft ombre--technique to create a rich result.

Formula A: Aveda's Enlightener Powder Lightner
10vol Color Catalyst
Formula B: Full Spectrum Deposit Only Color Treatment
60g Universal 0n
30g 10N
2.5g Dark Red.Violet
1g Light Orange.Red
90g Creme Activator
Step 1. "I took 6 triangular sections- 1 on the top of the head, 1 on the back and 2 on each side.
"I divided the top and back sections into 2 subsections. In each triangle and subsection, I took diagonal slices, back- combed and applied Formula A, leaving 1/2 inch in between each slice. Process time 15 minutes."
Step 2. "After shampooing & conditioning with Aveda's Dry Remedy line, I applied Formula B throughout her hair.
"Process time 20 minutes. After rinsing I sealed the color in with Aveda's Color Phinish Post Color Conditioner."
